Last February 6, 2012,the people in Visayas, specifically in Cebu and Dumaguete City were running for their lives. A 6.9 magnitude of earthquake hit those places and even made me cry. While I was running along the streets in Cebu City, there was a tsunami alert that made the Cebuanos along the downtown panic. I saw everyone crying, bringing their things nowhere to go. When I got my things packed, I just sat down and said “Lord, Ikaw nay bahala nako. In you, I trust.” There were people that went to high tops for them to be saved from the tsunami alert.
After the incident, we went to Labangon for us to evacuate. Then, another aftershock at exactly 6:00 p.m. We prayed the holy rosary together and I was even nervous, and reflecting how my family was. But what made me cry most, when I have read the last secret of Fatima. It was in there that people should pray, for the 1950-2000, the earth, and the people will experience calamities. All I have learned that we should always pray to ask for forgiveness, and to be thankful for all the blessings that HE has given.
WE should not wait for another plague to hit us. LET US PRAY EVERYDAY everyone. I hope all of you are safe. In God, WE TRUST.
